Day in the Life of A glimse into the lives of artist and filmmakers living and working in Los Angeles, CA
Stevie Werner "The Mad Musician"
Don't judge a book by it's cover, I had to tell myself this the first time I saw Stevie perform. Hallelujah was the song he sang, not something I expected to hear from a musician who calls himself "Mad". However, he gave a performance even Leonard Cohen himself would have been proud of. And after spending the day with The Mad Musician, I was once again reminded of that old expression.
Stevie is quiet, yes I said quiet, considerate and down to earth, yes I said down to earth. He's an artist navigating in the community we call "The City of Angeles", a proper city for Stevie. I'm not implying he's an angel. My comment only refers to how he treats the people around him, Stevie's circle of friends and acquaintances. When The Mad Musician is around everyone is comfortable to be themselves and confident they will being heard. He's greeted with smiles and the warmest of embraces. People gravitate to him, not because he's Mad but because he's a genuine spirit.
